The PigFest began in 1992 to cover operating costs for St. Joseph Academy. The Academy is a fully accredited Catholic school in the Diocese of Covington, directed by the Sisters of St. Joseph the Worker, a religious order dedicated to teaching the young and caring for the elderly. Located in Walton, KY, the Academy is a vibrant part of the community and enjoys positive relationships with the city, local residents, nearby Walton-Verona High School, and many local businesses. We also have a wonderful working relationship with our nearest neighbor, All Saints Catholic Church.
The success of the PigFest is largely a result of the hard work of our school family volunteers, and the local businesses who support us with their generosity. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful help with the event. We hope to see you there!
